MY PHILOSOPHY

What I love most about clay is how versatile a material it is, allowing me to express rhythm as well as narrative. From sculpture to functional vessels, its a medium that you can do something different with every day and never do the same thing twice. That’s important to someone like me with such a short attention span. Clay is the great imitator, a plastic blank material that you totally give identification. Each body of work is research for the next body. For me, playing in clay should be fun, thought provoking, and well crafted. “The road goes on forever and the party never ends.”
