THE DETAILS
Join us for a three day ceramic workshop in Pagosa Springs, Colorado and spend a hands-on day with each of these three talented artists:
RANDY BRODNAX
Create your favorite varmints, critters, and such out of thrown clay parts with Randy Brodnax. Randy will show how he thinks as he creates and constructs parts for his swamp creatures. This is a hands-on day of bodaciousness.
DON ELLIS
Learn Don's techniques and methods for alternative firing and create fantastic visual surfaces. This will include raku, copper matte luster, and alcohol reduction as well as iron chloride fuming. Each participant will want to bring up to 6 bisque pots (6" or so) for firing.
PAT JOHNSON
Spend a hands-on day with sculptural artist Pat Johnson as she shares building methods for her small self portraits using coil, slab, and attached appendages. Pat will also share varied surface decorating techniques including commercial underglaze, casein paint, and her unique work with wax.
June 5th, 6th, and 7th

Community lunch served each day and a Saturday night party
COST: $450 per participant
